The National Fireworks Laboratory, operated by the R&D Division of TAMAR Group, is Israel’s only certified testing authority for pyrotechnics.
Serving as the official field test laboratory of the Standards Institution of Israel, the lab is responsible for inspecting, approving, and certifying the import, marketing, and use of fireworks and pyrotechnic products nationwide.

All testing is performed in accordance with European safety standards EN15947 and EN16261, using a rigorous process that includes both prototype testing and batch testing under controlled safety protocols.

The laboratory team consists of certified fireworks operators, trained by INERIS – the French National Laboratory, and authorized by the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
Lab personnel also serve as recognized technical experts in professional forums and regulatory commissions.

In addition to its national responsibilities, the lab maintains international collaborations with laboratories across Europe and the Far East, helping to ensure global alignment in pyrotechnic safety and compliance.
